Why is it called a Puzette?
The bag and name were inspired by a cycling musette
Over the years, we experimented with different bags for daily walks and trips to the dog park, but none worked like we wanted…until we tried a musette bag.
Used by cyclists to carry food and drink in long races, these simple shoulder bags became the perfect grab-and-go bag for our furry outings.
We successfully wore a makeshift musette for years, until we decided to make it awesome, and dubbed our new bag the POO-zette (since carrying poop bags was a main feature).
How do I clean it? Can it go in the washing machine?
The DWR (durable water repellent) treament on our fabrics makes them super easy to clean by hand:
Spot cleaning: use a sponge with mild dish soap to clean dirty spots, and wear to dry on the go.
Full cleaning: brush off and dump out any loose dirt or crumbs, then give the entire bag a good wipe with the sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse and prop open to dry.
We do not recommend washing them in the washing machine as it can degrade the DWR treatment over time.
Where are they made?
Puzettes are proudly made in Denver, Colorado using a mix of domestic and imported materials.
Making bags locally isn’t cheap — but it keeps us honest. It means we keep the design lean, the function intentional, and the quality where it should be.
